Hybrid Security Solution delivered using analogue and IP Samsung Security products

The system is characterized by the hybrid coexistence of 30 analogue cameras and 8 IP cameras of the same brand. The extensive range of Samsung cameras has allowed the company to provide all the necessary cameras for the museum security requirements.

;The availability of Samsung’s high quality network and analogue dome cameras has allowed us to be extremely competitive through the reuse of existing coaxial wiring”, declared Gilles Leger, project manager at Ineo Com.

Today’s system includes a smaller number of cameras and several mobile dome cameras each replacing multiple fixed cameras. For better stealth, the powerful mobile dome cameras have been built into the false steel ceiling, which has been cut with precision at the workshop with a plasma torch. All cameras blend very well with the ceiling lights.

Among the installed cameras we find a particular set of compact and discreet indoor fixed analogue dome cameras DCS-2080, with a resolution of 600 TV lines and a 3.6x varifocal lens, several analogue mobile indoor dome cameras SCP-2250 and outdoors dome cameras SCP-2250H, with 600 TV lines resolution and a 25x zoom as well as indoor mobile dome cameras SNP-3120 and outdoor SNP-3120VH, tamper proof with 4CIF resolution in H.264 compression mode and a 12x zoom, that could be powered via the network cabling for additional savings.

All these dome cameras are equipped with Samsung W-5 or A1 chipsets, with advanced image processing capabilities such as SSNR III noise reduction, backlight compensation BLC, highlight compensation HLC, image stabilization DIS and super dynamic range SSDR for SCD-2080 and SCP-2250 or wide dynamic range WDR for SNP-3120/VH, ensuring perfect images regardless of lighting conditions during the day. The SCD-2080 features multi-zone motion detection and the SCP-2250/H and SNP-3120/H feature intelligent video analysis algorithms.

All these IP and analogue cameras are supported over the network by Samsung’s Net-i Viewer software, via two recorders, one SNR-3250 network recorder for the IP cameras and one SVR-3200 digital recorder installed on the network for the analogue cameras. All of the cameras are recorded continuously at 12 frames/second, and the video is stored for a period of one month.

As a whole, the system fully complies with current legal requirements in France.
